Hey,

Using BuddyPress 1.6 and bbPress 2.1.2 and come across a problem. When trying to edit a post in a group forum, the page loads the /edit page, but there’s no difference between that page and the actual post page and you don’t get to edit the page.

Tried disabling all addons and running default BuddyPress skin, but doesn’t work. Editing non-group forum posts works.

Edit: lol, some weird aging on the original post – at the moment it’s 42 years old.

I’m having the same problem as outlined here:

bbPress 2.1 -Can't do anything except for posting a topic & reply in group forum

Editing group form posts in Buddypress 1.6.1 works well, same with editing sitewide forums in bbPress 2.1. But once you combine them, you can’t edit group forum posts.

It’s a known issues now:

It seems this is slated for a 2.2 fix, but is there any known workarounds for 2.1 as this is causing me a fair bit of problems right now.

To clarify a wee bit:
When clicking the edit button in a topic inside a group forum, it links to:
http://www.site.com/groups/name-of-group/forums/topic/name-of-post/edit/

But that does nothing. And if you try to edit a reply, it links to
http://www.site.com/groups/name-of-group/forums/topic/reply-to-name-of-post/edit/

and that actually leads you to a “Oh bother! No topics were found here!” error page.
