The edit link is not appearing for users within the allotted 60 minutes. The template has the bb_post_admin(); call in it but does it require something else to fire the edit button for users?

It looks like you are using 1.0 with many of my plugins, which do not support 1.0

Did the edit link disappear after you upgraded? Try disabling some plugins and see if it reappears.

hmm. Deactivated all and changed theme, still nothing until I deactivated Akismet 1.0

I have all the plugins in the bb_plugins dir

Its working with Akismet off but is this safe?

Ok I think I resolved it. I downloaded the new files and uploaded the newer version of Akismet which still says its 1.0

But it seems to be working. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Now its time to do a full upgrade to 1.0.1 and make sure to recode all my fancy core changes.
