First time posting here, I hope I don’t do something stupid (probably will).

Anyway, i’m wondering how you can display a portion of the post of a topic in the index.

I’m not trying to show the entire posts, just an excerpt of the authors post or so.

If it’s not native to bbPress, then I assume there may a plugin for it?

Does anyone know?

I did try controlling CSS height but I couldn’t get t to work – it seemed to only respond to padding and margins… in any case I decided to only have the excerpts on the index page .. so the issue os no longer an issue. .. it would be good to kneo for the future so if it comes up again I will try again and be in touch if I can;t get it to work .. meanwhile if staff or anyone else decides to try this and makes it work please write the solution here!
