Collapsable Categories and Collapsable Sub-Categories
-
Hey guys and gals! I’m new so forgive me if this has been asked and answered already being I’m sure I’m not the only one with this expectation.
My site will have many, (MANY) categories, as well as many Sub Categories.
For Example, my site will be something like:
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2etc.
As you can see, this would be a mess being I will have many main categories. Could you imagine trying to find something specific scrolling through thousands of:
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2
Category 1
Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Category 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 1
Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub Forum 2I need ALL of the hierarchies to be collapsable so my users can select which Main category they would like to view, which Sub Category, which Sub-Sub Category to view etc, without having to view every single last one of them. (Kinda of would have expected that to be a built in feature honestly but, maybe the developers don’t have the same sub-category demands I have? Remember, it’s about the consumer mannnnnnnn!!! 😛 ) *shrug*
Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!
