Hello,

I have a forum that has been dead for a few months but I now want to bring it back – and would prefer it if the post and replies looked recent. How do I go about this? Is it a PhpMyadmin job or is there a way through the wordpress core?

Hi,
So basically you want to cheat 🙂
Go to you admin panels and open ‘Topics > All Topics’. Edit one of the topics and you should find on the right a ‘Publish’ box where you can edit the date and time.

Haha, Yes I guess it is cheating. A bit cheeky really.
Thanks for the help Pascal – it works for changing the topics – but the reply dates remain the same. So I guess it would get found out by doing this. Would serve me right a little

Awesome thank you very much.

Hit a bit of a weird snag though – as I can only view the first page of replies. When I click to view pages 2 onwards it states that the page can’t be found. A bit odd
