Hello,

I’m having an issue with a forum I administrate where there is a couple users that post in the forum, but I can’t find them listed under users anywhere!! Where could they be? It seems like the users are hidden or something.

does your forum support ‘anonymous posting’ ?

Dashboard>settings>forums and look for ‘anonymous posting’

ok, so I take it they don’t show under

dashboard>users>all users

and that they haven’t set an alias, so their display name is different than their login?

Yup, a couple users aren’t listed there.

Can you search all users by different criteria such as by email, username, name, etc? That’s ultimately what I want to do.

not easily from within wordpress.

How many users do you have?

Do you have phpmyadmin access? If you do then have a look at the wp_users table – don’t worry accessing the database isn’t really that scary as long as you go slowly and make sure you don’t update !
