    Hey Guys,

I made a folder called my-plugins and unzipped several plugins to that folder. I can not see them in the plugins option and have no idea how to fix it.

Am i missing a step here?

Nevermind, I figured out that it was adding an extra subdirectory and that was the problem,

    Thanks guys!

Ok, now that they are installed, im not seeing any options to edit the plugin settings. Askimet and the plugins that came with the forum have settings in the “settings” panel, but the rest of them just say activated in the plugin area and are not show a menu in any location…. any advice?

That depends on the plugin itself but if none of them is showing anything, then it can be a issue. Make sure the plugins you are using do have options panel.

Yah, a lot of plugins don’t have admin menus… they either:

    * Have no settings at all, or

    * Have the settings at the top of their code, and require you to edt them using a text editing program

Hopefully that’s the case! If you’re not sure, let us know which plugins you’re using…
