Hi I have buddypress 1.0 and bbPress 1.0-Alpha-6. I unzipped and have a dir http://ilocals.info where Buddypress resides. bbPress is at http://ilocals.info/forums/ When I click on the forums directory I get a error ‘sorry that page was not found’

Any ideas?

The procedure here is very clear

But I don’t even get to the installer.

This is my second install and the first worked fine.

I can’t install this either. There is no install.php file in the latest zipped version!

EDIT: It’s not that it’s missing, it’s that the link to install points to the wrong place, I found the install file in bb-admin/

Ive tried this added the install.php file into the main folder and it does work. just gives me a blank page

anyone able to help here???

You should not need to do anything strange at all. Just unzip the software and access the directory with a web browser and the installation should start. If that’s not your experience, something is wrong.

Are you on a Windows server?
