Hi,

In order to fight Spam and also useless for my forum users, I’d like to remove the Website field in the Profile Information page, how can I do that? Comment out certain lines in a php file?

Anyone have an idea? I am used to phpBB and in order to do such, all I had to do was to modify a couple of TPL files.

There’s an array you can manipulate to _add_ to the profile info certainly, not sure if you can also subtract from it. Worth pointing out that spammers are dumb things that won’t know if the field is there if they’re automated, at least AFAIK. You’d still get the same spam registrations but wouldn’t be able to recognise them.

Anyone? I really want to remove this field due to registration bots that insert a link to a porn or other Spam garbage site.
