I’m afraid I don’t understand your question, do you mean to make a forum private/hidden so only certain users can see it? Or do you want a single password that you can give to people so they can view your forum using that password?

I can manage to set up a private/hidden group for certain person.
however, I would like to create a Public Forum with a password instead of assign to a group individually.(just like what you said)
That means member have this password will goto future special forum…!
any suggestion?

There is not an easy way to do this, as far as I know.
You could create a private WordPress page/post that is password protected and use a bbpress shortcode to display the forum on that page but anyone who has the direct link to that forum could skip the password.

SO I need to assign the users to an specific group for the special Forum.
I just look round the support forum, found out this “Page Security by Contexture”
it looks and works good!
however, still need assign to a new user group for access the special Forum.
