My forum is loading very slowly for some reason. This only started happening today, and I haven’t made any changes. Other pages are loading just fine.

I’m not sure if it’ll be slow if you go to my link as I only have private forums right now. But here’s the link:

What might be causing this?

When I say slow, I mean that for me the forum page takes 20 seconds to load. One of my private forums just took over 30 seconds. And again other pages are fine.

Are you on shared hosting ? Are you sure your host is not overloaded ? (had the same issue some weeks ago).
You are sure there were no updates to any plugins/themes ?

Yes I’m on shared hosting. No, there have been no updates. To my knowledge the host isn’t overloaded. I’ve had a good experience with them so far.

Is there anything I can do on my end? I literally only have 8 topics so far, so it’s not a big forum or anything. I can’t think why it’d take so long, even with inefficient queries.

Oh I just figured it out. It’s this plugin doing it:

Any idea why that might be? Or recommendations of alternatives?

It is possible that the page was waiting for the plugin or API call to load first before your content. This would explain the delay.
