I noticed that “: )” doesnt create a smiley on a standard bbpress forum, but it does on this official forum 🙂 how can i have the same ?

also how to show emoticons on create / reply form ?

works on my test site and these are native to wordpress

If it’s not working for you, then try the usual fault finding.
