Hi everyone,

First of all, sorry for my english (I’ll try to do my best ^^’).

I’m just starting with BBPress (version 2) and I like it pretty much. Some functionalities missing, but fortunately there’s a lot of plugins to increase BBPress’s possibilities. I found, on this website, the “Unread Post” plugin (http://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/unread-posts/). I tried to install it on my BBpress in my-plugins directory (but I think it’s only for BBPress 1) and as a WordPress plugin, but it’s doesn’t work… Did I proceed correctly ? Maybe there’s a way to use BBPress 1 plugins on BBPress 2 ? Or does this plugin exist for BBPress 2 (I didn’t find it on this website, but I never know) ?

You have to use the bbPress plugins in WordPress plugin directory…

bbPress.org plugin directory is for bbPress 1 the standalone vr

Currently there is no plugin that handles this (at the moment) for bbPress 2.x.

Anyone can write a plugin and contribute it to the WordPress.org plugin repo.
