Hi John. I would love to be involved more in 2.2 milestone (and other releases too). Do we have weekly dev chats as core team do? That would be great starting point for me, so we can discuss tickets, possible improvements, etc.

I guess best time for this would after WordCamp SF.

Since this topic was posted in Requests and Feedback, I’ll post my request here (I can’t tell if it’s covered in the trac). Will 2.2 become the default version used by Buddypress Groups and will the plugin GD bbPress Attachments (as it is with 2.1 site wide) be compatible with it? If not, this would be my request. Thanks!

when I install in wordpress bbpress with BuddyPress I get this errorFatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in on line 1056

@jmperu you need to have your hosting provider up your php memory limit.

Punting several tickets to future release to get 2.2 out sooner. 2.2 will focus on user profiles and user roles and capabilities.
