bbp 2.5.2 HTTP 500 Error Upon Activation

WordPress 3.8 running Twenty Fourteen theme. http://ThePaintersTongue.com.
When I activate the plugin I get an HTTP 500 error. I have to go into my File Manager and delete the plugin in order to get back into WordPress.

Have you tried disabling all your plugins, then enable bbPress?

    Plugin Conflicts
To try and resolve conflicts with other plugins please disable all your plugins except bbPress to see if the error persists. Re-enable each plugin one at a time and if things break again you should be able to now know which other plugin is causing the conflict.

Thanks Stephen. I tell you, I am so afraid to disable my plugins because it seems to delete my widgets in my sidebars. Then I have to redo them all again. Very time consuming. But may be what I need to do.

Try disabling all your ‘other’ plugins first leaving bbPress and your widget plugin, with some luck it won’t be ‘that’ plugin.
