Hi there,
I’m pretty new with wordpress and bbpress, and I can’t find the setting I need.
I want that new users automaticaly got the subscriber role on my site (done, general setting) and also the bbp_participant role.

How can I do that ? Thanks by advance.

dashboatd>settings>forums>Automatically give registered visitors the participant role

it could be a theme or plugin issue

Themes

As a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwenty, and see if this fixes.

Plugins

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users

Even with using the troubleshoot feature:
Settings : only bbPress is active:

The settings submenu:

And bbPress says it’s 100% translated, so I don’t think it’s a trouble with a lacking sentence/word.

ok – are you a keymaster? only keymasters can view the settings.

That’s exactly what I noticed. I made a mistake yesterday and change my forum profile to moderator.
Now, I’ve to find where I can give me the key master profile through mysql…
