So… I’m an admin user. I try to hit the admin link and I get nothing, the front page just reloads. Even if I put the URL straight into the browser I just get the front page:

http://MYURL/forums/bb-admin/

What’s the deal? Is this a cookie problem or something?

Is it integrated with WordPress? I have this issue in that scenario, only solution is to login in from the bbPress side instead.

I don’t think accessing bb-admin directly ever works. You need to use the login boxes on the front page of the forum. What happens when you try that?

Sometimes when you integrate bbPress with WordPress, you can lose Keymaster access (even if you’re signed into one or both of the software systems, as Chris mentioned above).
