But does 2.6.4 fix the freshness bug? or do we still need to run Robin’s plugin patch? the plugin works and does fix issue but since installing the plugin i get a weird reload of forum index when going “back” on mobile and hope 2.6.4 has it fixed but not seeing it mentioned in change log.

No. That is now targeted for 2.6.5.

Testing has been performed for that bug, but it must be something more structural. We are still looking at where it’s coming from. But had already other important bugs fixed so we did not want to wait in bringing already 2.6.4
