Anything is possible but there are only 4 moderators. They all sit next to each other and they are all aware of and extremely annoyed by this problem. I’m confident none of them are intentionally reopening closed topics.
Nevermind, I traced to problem back to other code that’s using a bbpress filter and causing this issue.
