I haven’t found the reason yet, but my guess is it could be something with the PHPMyAdmin version. I tried the same set up of the website (wp installation, bbpress, theme, plugins) on an other server and the Recent Reply Widget was working fine.
I had this problem before as well with posts being displayed in reverse order. So my guess is it’ could be the same problem now.
