In reply to: Editor buttons inherited from wp customer theme
Hmm, the forum is available only for logged-in users.
But as the editor was never visible in a standard view, it has been disabled so far.We might have an online session (teams, or zoom) if you like so I can show and maybe explain it better, if this works for you.
In reply to: Editor buttons inherited from wp customer themeIt is fine that they appear, but they should appear in a standard view. The whole editor should stay in it’s standard setting, where the customer theme should be applied for the forum itself with the buttons that are available (for example: profile, subscription, aso.)
My aim is to set the editor back to standard. I already tried to set CSS settings, but maybe they have been placed in the wrong file or the wrong place. Thus, I would appreciate – due to my non experience – where to set it correctly.
Thanks alredy for your support.
In reply to: Editor buttons inherited from wp customer themeI thought the link was already placed in the previous reply. But let me do it once more:
In reply to: Editor buttons inherited from wp customer themeHi Robin
Hope you hade a great holiday time.
Coming back now to the still present issue with my forum. Do you have a hint on making the editor buttons in a standard view, as the rest of the forum shall follow the customer theme?
In reply to: Editor buttons inherited from wp customer themeHi Robin
Thanks for your reply and the description. If I would change something in the dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>Topic/Reply Form, it will affect only the submit button. But I would not exclude, that I did something wrong 🙂
But what I am looking for is the style of the formatting buttons:
Would be happy to get help here, but maybe after the holiday season.
In reply to: Menu “Forum” not visibleSearching this forum gave the answer.
The Keymaster was missing ad with the advice to install the bbp Stlye Pack, this role could have been set.The tricky point for me is the fact, that depending on the view that is used, one might not see the Forum role, that is different as the one of the Site Role. The classic view had to be set first in the Users->All Users view to discover that.
If somebody else is struggling with the same issue, then follow these steps:
1. Jump to Users->All Users menu and change there the view in the upper right corner to “classic view”.
2. Verify the “Forum Role” column if your current user has the Keymaster priviledge.
3. If the Keymaster priviledge is missing, install the bbp Style Pack Plugin.
4. Once ppb Style Pack is installed jump to the menu Settings->bbp Stlye Pack and there to the Tab bbPress Bug Fixes and scroll to the Fix for the Keymaster. Tik it and press at the bottom on SaveThis solved at least my issue 🙂
