Ehm, how do I download 2.3? I seem to only get it file by file.
What are the changes by the way? Private profile pages or do these remain public, but is the posts archive related to public or private fora?
Just threw the whole forum behind a brick wall, so there is nothing there to see anymore, but if anyone knows what I mean and has an idea about it…
Edit, it did work, but the screen of a forum with no threads looks similar to the screen of the fora with malfunctioning permalinks.
Edit, problem is solved. I had a public forum as introduction, but since there were no thread in that part, I also got a “bugger!” notification when I clicked on it like on the forums with the malfunctioning permalinks.

BBpress is to create a forum, but is that what you want? Perhaps it is better to ask your question on the WP forums.
