I am the former moderator of both the WordPress.com and the WordPress MultiUser support forums, both positions dropped onto me without anyone asking first. I left the WordPress community in disgust after facing multiple incidents of bigotry and discrimination from both upper members of the WordPress development team as well as Automattic management. Reports of such actions were ignored while my own personal servers as well as those of my clients were DDoSed. I also faced issues with Akismet which were denied.
