Thank you – That looks like exactly what I need. I have other pages that need to be blocked if a user is not logged in but if I understand it correctly I can use WordPress to do that without a plug in.

Found out the problem – the forum was defaulting to “sidebar 1” so I set that up in the correct format and now it appears correctly. I could not find anyway to override this defaulting to that sidebar. Interested to know if others have seen this problem.

Just found the same is true on the topic page.
That did not work. I still have the wrong widget showing up. The added page is displaying – I know because I added some text to test it, and even though I change the sidebar to the one I want the incorrect one is still showing up. I even tried to remove it and make the page full width and that did not work – the wrong sidebar is still there. Sure hope someone can help me solve this.
