Hello again,
i think we need a setting e.g. “expose secret forums”. The statistics widget is affected too, counting strange in this setup.
Don’t know if this is possible, but create a user called “Deleted User” and assign all these deleted user’s content to this user.
This will fake statistics, so there should be a special user or role to do this, e.g. trashed user’s content.
Just writing down my thoughts. Sorry for that 😉
