Hi,
it seems to have fixed itself, ill post back if it becomes a problem….
Ok, as far as timezones, what if I get a user from Australia and one from America? wouldn’t they want to have different timestamps by each post? is there no plugin for that.
Best,
JBIn reply to: small problem with my forumthanks guys, what I just found out is I am the only person who can edit it on the front side, so I think Ill just leave it. But I appreciate the suggestions.
Best,
JBIn reply to: small problem with my forumI like the new submit button, but it has also influcned the update profile button… Does anyone know how to change just the submit button?
Thanks Stephen,
JB
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.I have noticed a new problem on the forum, astronomertalk.com,
you need to join to see it, but I changed the submit button,
using this code:
#bbpress-forums .submit {
background-color: #000073;
color: #FFFFFF;
float: center;
vertical-align: middle;
border-radius: 2px;
height: 35px;
width: 80px;
font-size: 18px;
}but it also influenced the update profile button which now looks screwed up…
You need to join to see it, but it looks bad.
Does anyone know a fix.
Thank You,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.I think so too,
thank you for all your help!
any more suggestions would be appreciated.
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.did not do anything…
I do agree though, too close can lead to problems.
I am hoping to move the sidebar and the main forum both up a few pixels more.
Best,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.Did not seem to do anything for the sidebar.
I am still hoping to move both the sidebar and the forum up a few more pixels.
Best,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.ahh I see.
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.great, just played around with it an ended up with this, which is what I like the look of
#post-entry article.post-single .post-content {
font-size: 1.25em;
margin-top: -85px;
padding-top: 0px;
line-height: 2.00em;
}Would you know how to also get rid of some of the space on top of the sidebar?
Best,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.just tried it, does not seem to do anything.
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.also, is there any way to get a picture next to every catagory or subforum?
Thank you,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.Yes, all 3 worked!!!!!!
I will say there is a bit of a gap now, between the forum, and the title of site/description, would you know how to make that smaller?
Best,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.trying all now, will post back,

In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.Hi Robin,
#1 Yep.
#2. #2, Yep, increase font plus change colors, and possibly add a picture next to each subforum.
#3. No, just get rid of that “Forum”, under “no categories,” I believe its the page title. wouldent mind getting rid of it on all the pages.
Yes, I created a child theme called “[awesome].
Thank You So Much,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.I also would not mind getting rid of the huge Forum, underneath the no categories as it already says forum underneath.
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.take your time, just wanted to make sure people did not think it was solved.
Thank You,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.no one?
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.also, I can see my theme already has a child inside of it, should I just use that and delete the one I made?
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.wait up, I just created the theme and activated it!
woot woot!
wahts the next step.
Thanks,
JBIn reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.#1, not too much action is taking place via the support forum for the theme, looks not very well used. maybe we can figure it out here.
#2 Hi Robin, I am into my cpanel via firezilla, but still a bit unsure how I could “create” a child theme.
In reply to: Delete "no categories" on forum.Thank You!
#1, yes I will use their support forum now.
#2 I am confused where to look for that code? Sorry, I am new to coding. Where do I find the place to edit that code?
Thank You,
JB
