In reply to: Testing Embeded Video
Thanks everyone…once I get my bbPress up and running in BuddyPress I’ll give the plugins shot.
In reply to: Testing Embeded VideoI guess you can’t embed video objects huh
I am trying to setup a buddypress community but the client wants to be able to post videos. Since you can’t directly link a blog to a group (or have a link to your the groups blog on the groups page), I was thinking I’d use bbPress for posting videos and images. …guess not?
In reply to: PlanningPool.com WordPress & BBPress integrationGood job, I can’t even get bbPress to install within my wordpress directory so your ahead of me!
I got an error when I clicked on the only topic you have posted.
An un-related comment…I think your glare is upside down on your logo, the white should be on top, not bottom. I would recommend you glare the city and not the text…just being helpful. Site looks clean, great job!
In reply to: Help with installation andintegrationI tried deleting uft8_general_ci from my wp_config.php file and left it blank during the install however now I’m getting the following error.

In reply to: Help with installation andintegrationI’m also having this issue. My collation was set to something different so I thought I had found the issue, I changed the collation on the DB using phpMyAdmin>Operations however even after setting the DB to utf8_general_ci I still get the same error.
bbPress 1.0-rc-1
Wordpress MU 2.7.1
BuddyPress 1.0
Can we leave the collation blank in the wp_config.php and while installing bbPress? What is this for?
