I am trying

but feeders does not see the trailing ?post_type=topic/ and just serves the posts from loop that already has a working RSS feed.

why wouldn’t the feed be

dopmain.com/topics/feed

Thanks Robkk, I will try to find the instruction but it was about setting up a forums page so their could be a link to it in the nav menu

It would be a blank page with just the shortcake for list forums.

So is it possible using /forums/ conflicts with root or something already being used by bbpress?

Huh, i didn’t see that coming. So best if admins alone create general forums and let users create topics within them.

But a member can create a a group, and a forum within that, yes?

The plugin was not an appropriate suggestion. It looked like a minefield to me. and saw no mention or facility for discussion above.

I’d love to do something like a guide someday but I can’t even figure out how to let users start a topic.
