My Template Victory

While in the beginning it would seem that modifying templates is the hardest thing in the world to do, once you understand the way that bbPress looks at templates (my-templates and then bb-templates), it is really not that bad.

I managed to get bbPress to almost look like my blog after working on it for awhile.

I have some small changes to do, but it seems to work for me for now!

Looks good, fits the WP template very well. I would make the hot tags purple or dark blue though.

    Good work!

Trent, agreed… When I started, it mostly mind block… once you open up, it gets pretty easy…

    a test integration: http://test.klasen.us

ignore all the silly posts and comments… testing a new wp theme and a whole bunch of other stuff for things I am working on…

That is a nice integration that you have there! Playing around with the theme is really time consuming and each time I make a new bbPress template (now 7 different ones), it is always a different process so I can’t even write a manual! It is all using CSS and comparing the bbPress and WP stylesheets! Always fun though! Thanks for the everyone!
