Can bb-login be set as start screen?

I don’t want anyone to be able to see the forums till they are logged in. Is it possible to set bb-login.php as the opening page of my forums?

I did this with one of my sites simply by using a basic conditional to check if a user is logged in. If they are not logged in, they get redirected to my login page.
