they want to create a plugin instead of standalone, and perphaps it will be included in WordPress next major version so I think here are some last breaths.

Keep in touch for the updates regarding the plugin.

Its all alive. Even Standalone version won’t die.

I have pretty much the same question : are there updates available for bbpress in french ? The language file I isntalled was from july 2009.

It’s a great job but all items aren’t covered by the version I downloaded.

How about you French-language folks provide a list of the English terms that don’t have an appropriate French equivalent, and provide the terminology you think it should have. Then the language files can be updated.

Would be faster than waiting for someone to get around to it.

hm just about to integrate bbpress on my site and read a theread like this of bbpress unsupported? hmm.

bbPress will eventually see some GlotPress love, at which time anyone is welcome to contribute to language packs.

…and no, bbPress is not dead. Never was.
