URL problems in the installation

    I installed bbpress integrated to my wordpress site on a subdomain, the problem I have is the following.

    The forum is working in the following way

    http://subdomain.mydomain.com/forums

    what I want is to make it work like this

    http://subdomain.mydomain.com/

    What do I need to do for the above, I am a newbie so please excuse my ignorance if it is a quick fix.

    you should upload the files to the root of subdomain, instead of a folder called forums.

    you can take the content from the folder called forums and put it into subdomain, and change the vaulues in your database using phpmyadmin

    I uploaded the bbpress files to the root of my sub-domain and checked the permalinks it shows the following in the namebased option. I guess it didnt work ?

    http://subdomain.mydomain.com/forums/first-forum

    hi,

    here is the url : http://forums.bombayclubcanada.com/

    When i login as a test user and post anything it errors out on me, I can give you login information if you like or you can register as a user to test.
