Hot Tags Filter/Editor

    Though I have Akismet installed on the bbpress forum, I keep getting tags added that are showing up in the Hot Tags without being even added to any posts. I found that the only way to remove them is by removing them directly from the database. Is there any kind of filter for hot tags spam and any plugin to remove hot tags from the admin panel?

    There should be a destroy tag button when you are looking at the page for an individual tag at the bottom when you are logged in as admin.

    Ok, but it’s a pain in the butt to have to go to every single tag page to delete it when somehow bots are posting 100 of them a day. Is there any way to block that? I already have the forums set so that you can’t post without being registered. And the bots are adding hot tags without adding new posts or adding hot tags to the existing posts, the tags are just being added to the database.
