Profile Editing Page Customization / Custom CSS Help?

I have my site set up on a very dark theme, and everything seems to be working properly.. until I get to the Profile Edit page. I’m pretty sure I can change the background color of the form boxes through custom CSS… but I don’t know how to do that. (I also need to change the colors of the fonts) .. Because currently it’s utterly un-readable. HELP!

The other problem is that the edit profile page for some reason changes the layout of the whole website. I use a full-width template, and it shrinks the width of the page to show the edit profile, and doesn’t seem to close that width, meaning it affects my page’s full-width footer, too – which just looks terrible. And I can’t seem to figure out how to edit the template to fix it. (I use Oxygen builder)

Maybe.. for the second problem.. is there a way to send the profile edit link to a certain page? because I could then edit the template for that page?

Yes, I’m running BBpress, and when you go to the “edit profile” page on the forums – the boxes are white, and so is the text. I need to change one or the other.

I’m actually running Oxygen. so the theme is built by me. And I found a solution that works for my site, so this topic help is no longer necessary. Sorry for the trouble.
