can you explain further – I clicked the ‘forum’ menu item and got taken to the forum list, which is what I would expect.
Hi Robin, If you click on one of the forums it will bring you back to the homepage and not the forum
it could be a theme or plugin issue – I know you have already switched themes but try a default one 🙂
Themes
As a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwenty, and see if this fixes.
Plugins
If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.
If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users

yes I did, but didn’t have any luck. I notice that the group forum works but not the general forum
ok, so with JUST a default theme and JUST bbpress as only plugin, this occurs – yes ?
Solved. I changed Forum to forum in forum slug setup…not sure why that made a deference
