    Hi there,

    2 things are going wrong:
    Firstly, the Participant tag is not being added to new users – this is set under Settings/ Forms.
    Secondly, if I manually add the tag, the user still doesn’t gain the capabilities it should. The Participant can view, but not reply on topics.

    I have checked and the topics are public.

    I’d like to add that all the settings seem to be in place. Perhaps it would be helpful if someone could give me a few things t double check?

    WP version 5.2.1
