Auto reply to topics after a certain time period

I’m trying to setup my forum that after a certain amount of time goes by on a topic (say 1 hour for example), that a pre-formatted message from the admin will be automatically posted in reply. Does anyone know how to go about this?

it’s do-able but I don’t know of anything that already does this.

Suspect you need to pay someone to cut the code for you.

Hi,
I’m not aware of any plugin for this, but just to elaborate a bit… Let’s say you set 1 hour:
– Would this message be on every topic, or only on the ones that do not have a reply yet within the hour?
– Only once I suppose, not every hour?
– Should the topic owner be notified?

Thanks for your reply. To answer your quesitons:

– This message would occur on every new topic that has not received a reply in the hour
– Yes, only one automated reply
– No, the topic owner does not need to be notified
