Yes, just click the hash (#) next to the time posted and you’ll see that that’s a permalink to the one specific reply. This is yours. Might not look like much unless your browser window is very small, but you can check the address bar to be certain it’s working.
You didn’t understand. I know about what you talked but I’m asking for option where ID of post would be sent as a GET and then it will redirect to topic page with hash and topic ID (like in examples from vBulletin and SMF I posted above)
As I said above, I want to migrate from SMF and in SMF’s URLs there are IDs of posts and I want to redirect to correct one. When there is only one page of topic, then there is no problem with redirection that ends with named anchor, but for longer topics I can’t find number of page where post appear.
We’re having a similar issue in a LearnDash/bbPress site:
If the post is on page 2 of the topic, for example, the direct link to the post redirects to the main page of the topic like this:
https://example.com/forums/topic/ask-anything-about-week-1-lesson/#post-51504
and not like this (where I manually added the page number). this link works correctly:
https://example.com/forums/topic/ask-anything-about-week-1-lesson/page/2/#post-51504
Did we miss something in the configuration?
Thanks

I agree with @chrishajer just click the hash (#) next to the time posted and you’ll see that that’s a permalink to the one specific reply. This is yours. Just follow him.
