I want to add a prefix list to place on the titles of posts.

ok, but where does the prefix come from? Otherwise surey you just type it in the topic title?

I suspect that this would not be easy to do automatically, but please give me more details.

The prefix cam from my list.
On phpbb this is posible. Next to title a combo box with options.

No I don’t think that is possible with bbPress.
