Separate forum for guest support.

    Hello,
i hope you can help me. I want a separate forum for my guests (anonymous). They should be able to post there and create new topics without registration. The other forums should be still visible to guests but not “writable”. Only registered members should be able to create new topics and post.
Is there any way to achieve that?
    Thank you!

Use ‘Private Forums’ for your ‘Registered Users’ as you must be logged in to see these forums and use a ‘Public Forum’ with ‘Anonymous Posting’ enabled for your guests.

Okay thanks. But this private thing is the problem. I dont want to hide anything from my guests. They should be able to read and see the forums for the registered members.

Ok, I’m out of options for you with bbPress.

Maybe take a look at some of the ‘membership’ plugins such as ‘Members’ by Justin Tadlock or S2Member. I think these ‘can’ do what you are after but have a look around and see what you can find.
