Can't edit settings in bbpress

I don’t have any place on the left side bar to edit BBpress and when I go into the settings of the plugin I see this message:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

I have 3.7.1 of wordpress installed

I just uploaded the most recent version of bbpress

I presume you are not the administrator of this site, so you’ll need to get the admin to give you privilege to access this area.
