Forum all of a sudden says "The page you requested cannot be found" HELP!

    Been using the forum with no problems for months. Have a lot of users and over 2,000 topics.
    Today I go to the forum and I see my main forum listed and when I click it, instead of going to the forum I am not left at a page that says “Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.”

    I haven’t touched the forum in the admin section in days. HELP! What can I do to fix this?

    I had read on another forum to turn off “Prefix your forum area with the Forum Base slug (Recommended)”
    Once I did that it started working again.

    So strange why it would do that all of a sudden.
    In any case that fixed it atleast.
