Do they show in the widget if the user IS logged in?

The topics show in the widgets when the user is logged in. But i don’t want them to show when logged out.
It’s there an easy solution? Like a filter or function.
No not that I can see, it shouldn’t be doing what it is, thus it is a bug and needs to be fixed.

I just tested this and cannot reproduce it using the latest bbPress beta.
Can you try the with the latest beta and if it is still an issue open a ticket on trac.

I’m seeing the same behavour, private topics are visable to visitors not logged in.
I’ve uploaded Version 2.3-rc1 and the it did not fix the issue.
I’ve also removed the old widgets and readded them. No change in private posts visibility either.
The Topic View widget also shows private forums/posts to visitors.
