Our church just started our own forum and I’m learning as I go here.

First issue: One user registered twice and wants to delete one account. When I clicked on edit on their account, I got a 404 user/data page not found error, so I can’t delete it

Second issue: Is there a plugin or another moethod for a user to change passwords when they log in with the weird password they automatically get?

2. You might want to allow the user to just pick their own password when they create the account:

Otherwise, they can just log in, go to their profile, click edit, then change the password. No plugin required; it’s built in.

1. Are you having any other issues with the forum? It almost sounds like the URL permalinks are not working. Can you post a link to your forum? If not, why worry about the duplicate account? Just never use it and no one will ever know.

Thank you. I fixed the edit problem and will install the password plug-in. Appreciate the help
