Hey bbpress community, I’m excited to say I launched my new website yesterday, its running the 2.1.2 plugin version of WordPress, but I’ve modified its templates pretty heavily, and added some custom functions. You can check it out at: http://tamrielfoundry.com Some cool features of my bbpress are:

• Dropdown forum index in navigation menu
• User profile integration with custom profile pages
• Forum quotes
• User signatures for forum posts and comments

I’ve got plans for a bunch more features I’d like to build in, but I’m just happy the site is live for now. Thanks for all the hard work developing this awesome forum plugin. Let me know what you think of the site!

Wow! Really nice looking website, one of the better I’ve seen lately. Your forum is almost identical to what I want to accomplish in forms of layout etc.

I’m very new to bbPress, so haven’t really got the hang of customizing it.

May I ask how you accomplished the sectioning of the forum categories (General Discussion, Player factions etc.)?

A lot has changed with Tamriel Foundry over the past 9 months, but one thing that has stayed constant is our application of bbPress to power our popular forums. If you haven’t checked the site out yet, or haven’t visited recently, drop by and take a look!

Going with bbPress isn’t always the easiest route to take, but it’s been really rewarding to work with from the development side of things, and it’s great to have total control over a forum platform that is seamlessly integrated into the overall site.

One of my main motivators of continuing with BBPress is Tamriels foundry, one of the few examples that show that it is possible to create a forum similar to that of premium forums, with the added bonus of having wordpress/bbpress and budypress with their helpful communities.

You guys rock and thanks to looking at your code I am able to create my own community site.
