I feel like I’ve searched everywhere for this solution, but can’t seem to find it. I’m either slow and don’t know what I’m doing, or just blind.

How do you find the parent forum ID? I’m trying to display a list of topics from a certain forum on my sidebar widget, but can’t for the life of me find the ID. Help please 🙁

To get the required numerical ID for $forum_id, $topic_id, $reply_id and $tag_id you will need to visit your /wp-admin/ section and either by editing the post or by hovering your mouse over the applicable forum/topic/reply/tag post type you will see a numeric ID for that post eg. /wp-admin/post.php?post=47
