I have been working on a site http://www.caiminds.com and my forums are the only thing that is holding my site back from being fully operational as my forum looks unappealing.

I’m using the Quik Gallery by WPExplorer.

I’m happy with this theme and changing it to another theme is not an option. Is it possible to install a separate theme and/or page specifically for my forum.

I’m a complete novice at this so simple instructions would be appreciated.

First suggestion:

I would add this css to give your topic title some breathing room:

th.bbp-forum-info {width:50%;}

Grab a standard bbPress theme like twentyten and then drop the CSS at the end of your style sheet, see what happens, you might have to make some changes.

If you stick it at the end of your style sheet as well you can always just delete the section that you copied in.
