Hello,
I am running the current BBPress release and have TinyMCE editor enabled for users. Switching to text mode, it appears that they should be able to add images (linked, not uploaded), however it is stripping out the image when the post is published.

I looked through the plugin settings, and I don’t see anything to enable or disable images beyond turning the TinyMCE on or off. I would like to allow users to post images, preferably without a plugin. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This will be enabled by default in the upcoming bbPress 2.3
