Adding a picture and text to the main forums page.

    Hello, I have a new forum, and the page is.. well, in need of sprucing up. How do I add an image to the top of this page?

    Things seem to be a bit messed up anyway. I have a page called “forums”, which has the permalink: http://www.eyeondemand.com/forum/

    I can edit this to add text, but no image appears when I add a “featured image”.

    My actual formums though are at http://www.eyeondemand.com/forums/ (see the plural) and I have no idea why. That said, would it kill the forums if I changed the permalink from the first one above to add the plural?

    Or is there a way to edit the http://www.eyeondemand.com/forums/ page

    As an alternative to the thought about changing the permalink above, should I instead change the root of the forums in the forum settings?

    Sorry for the late reply, I just approved this topic.

    I don’t think you actually need a featured image for the forum index page. I think it would make it look kind of off in a way if it did have a featured image, and the rest of the forum pages do not.
