good work, but...the plugin is taking the trackbacks too, not only the comments. Can u fix it pls.

if not it is ok. the only problem is that it takes: [title]:[ErnestoJustiniano.org] in the last writter column and when the title is too long it seems not very good with the theme.

u can see it in Foro

I think it will be nice to add option for trackbacks, e.g.
[x] don't sync trackbacks
[ ] show only trackback site name
[ ] show full trackback information

what do you think?

I'm having problems finishing the setup. I've got the latest versions of all the plugins/BBpress and WP and I'm getting the following error:

Not allowed: [bbPress part] Invalid anonymous user id

I get this on both plugins.

Is there a user I need to create here? And if so on which side? Thanks!

it's better to create a new user on bbpress side and set his id in bbpress plugin options
no need to change anything on wordpress side

Thanks for the help. That worked. I have two suggestions for later version of this plugin.

1. Post routing based on categories. It would be nice if particular posts went to a specific forum based on the category.
2. Option to direct comment link on WP directly to the post on the forum instead of syncing the comments between the blog and the forum.

@marcomail, no. when you close post comments in wp, you automatically close comments in bbpress topic too

now seems work in the subdomain.

The syncronization seems doesn't work, i've approved a comment but i don't see the reply in the forum.

i see there is some trouble if the post on wordpress don't have "wpbb_sync_comments" meta value

this is the correct issue:

- if "wpbb_sync_comments" is not set up, if i approve a comment the thread on the forum it's not created

- if "wpbb_sync_comments" is not set up, if the user post a nonmoderated comment the the thread on the forum it's correct

- if "wpbb_sync_comments" is correctly set up, there is no issue, the thread in the forum it's always created

is it possible move the link to the forum topic in the comments in another position ?

and is it possible use the excerpt instead the more tag ?

- the thread information are not updated if i delete or non approved some comments

- If the comments is under moderation and the thread on the forum must be created, the comment will not show in the forum thread

I get this error when I try to activate the bbPress side of the sync:

i cannot get this to work at alll. i had to modify permissions quite a bit just to get the thing to run. finally i got the wordpress plugin to work but the bbpress plugin does not work. when i go to http://~~/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-bbpress-syncronization/wpbb-sync.php it gives me the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home/gurrlieg/public_html/gurrliegirl.info/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-bbpress-syncronization/wpbb-sync.php on line 935

i tried including the wp-load.php file and that cleared the error but no matter what i do, the bbpress-side admin continues to say:
URL is incorrect or connection error, please verify it (full variant): http://~~/wordpress/?wpbb-listener

i'm using WP 2.8.1 and BP 1.0.1 just like the person above me
